God is With You, Be Strong and Courageous

26th May 2019. The final Sunday as Pastor at Ladywell, Jim McFarlane will retire at the end of this month. Reading from Joshua 1, verses 1 to 9, Jim uses this passage to encourage us all for the next part of our journey with the Lord - for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

A Closed Door

19th May 2019. From Revelation 3 v 14 - 22, Jim McFarlane completes his series on the Letters to the Seven Churches in Asia Minor, the church at Laodicea. The church is known as Compromised or the Lukewarm Church as it is neither hot nor cold.

Hold on to What you Have

12th May 2019. Jim McFarlane finishes the second part of the Philadelpian church from Revelation 3 verses 7 to 13 in this series on the letters to the Seven Churches of Asia Minor.

An Open Door

5th May 2019. Jim McFarlane has now reached the 6th church, Philadelphia - the Faithful Church. Jesus has no words of condemnation for this church, only encouragement and the promise of an “open door” of blessing.

Wake up! Remember

28th April 2019. Jim McFarlane has now reach Sardis, the fifth of the churches in Asia Minor - The dead church that needs to wake up and remember what they have been taught and repent.

Hold on until Jesus Returns

7th April 2019. Jim McFarlane continues with the letters from Jesus Christ to the seven churches in Asia Minor from Revelation chapter 2 and verses 18 to 29, the Church in Thyatira. This comes with a warning of false and corrupt teaching in the church by conforming with the world around us in a belief that God will overlook sin. That is not the teaching of the Gospel.
