18th November 2018. Rev Jim McFarlane poses the question "Where Does Our Help Come From?". The answer is found in David's Psalm 121.

11th November 2018. On this Remembrance Sunday, Rev Jim McFarlane speaks from John 15 verses 9 to 17 that the greatest act a man can do is to lay down his life for his friends as many have done in the past 100 years of human conflict. But only one man has laid down his life for all humanity.

4th November 2018. Rev Jim McFarlane completes his series on Paul's letters to the church at Thessalonica using the final verses from chapter 3 of the 2nd letter which deals with discipline.

7th October 2018. Rev Jim McFarlane continues with his series on Paul's letters to the Thessalonian church, now preaching from 2 Thessalonians 2 v13 - 17.

23rd September 2018. In this 50th Anniversary year of Livingston Baptist Church, the Rev Bill Slack preaches from Acts 2:41-47 that 'We are the Church' and we must share the Gospel with others in order for it to grow as God commands and guides us.

16th September 2018. Rev Jim McFarlane continues his series on Thessalonians and has now reached the 2nd chapter of the second letter where Paul describes the three things that must happen before the return of Christ for his church.

9th September 2018. Jim McFarlane resumes his series on Paul's letters to the Thessalonians. Writing his 2nd letter, Paul boasts about their perseverance and faith whilst under persecution together with the growth of their love for one another. Where faith grows, love will abound, for faith works by love.

2nd September 2018. Jim McFarlane reads from King David's Psalm 139 and that we are all Fearfully and Wonderfully Made by God and how He knows everything about us, even more than we know ourselves and that we can never escape the presence of God as He is everywhere.

26th August 2018. The Rev. Graham Kinloch reads from Luke 5 vs 17 to 26 and speaks on the topic of Encountering Joy like the paralysed man experienced when he was healed by Jesus after being lowered through a hole in the roof as he couldn't get in to the house where Jesus was.

19th August 2018. The Rev. Dr. Ian Birch speaks from Luke's Gospel chapter 10 verses 38 to 42 on the difference between being busy with God's business and spending time in His presence.
