Ready or Not, Here I Come

15th April 2018. Rev Jim McFarlane recommences his series on Thessalonians after the Easter services. Now at 1 Thessalonians 4 v 13 - 18 and Paul's response to the church's concern over christians dying before the return of Jesus.

The Empty Tomb Proves Christ is Alive

8th April 2018. A week after we celebrated the greatest day in history that Christ has risen from the dead, Jim McFarlane speaks from 1 Corinthians 15 verses 12 to 28 where Paul emphasises the importance of the resurrection to the Christian faith.

The Triumphal Entry

25th March 2018. On this Palm Sunday, Jim McFarlane preaches from Luke 19 verses 28 - 44 on Jesus's arrival at Jerusalem as King at the start of His final week to save the whole world from their sin on the cross at Calvary.

Living and Loving to Please God

25th March 2018. Continuing with his series from Paul's letters to the Thessalonians, Jim McFarlane is now at 1 Thessalonians 4 v 1- 12. Speaking on the title, Jim expounds on obediance to God through self control and love for each other.

Encouraging One Another

11th March 2018. Reading from 1 Thessalonians 3 v 6 - 13, Jim McFarlane examines Paul's feelings for the church after Timothy returns with encouraging news and prays continuously that God will make it possible for him to visit them again.

Encouraging One Another in Faith

4th March 2018. Jim McFarlane has now reached chapter 3 and the first 5 verses of 1st Thessalonians which concentrates on Paul's concern for the Thessalonian church and that he can't visit them himself because of Satan's prevention. So he sends Timothy to encourage and strenghten them in the faith.

25th February 2018. After a weeks break, Jim McFarlane continues his series in Paul's letters to the Thessalonians. Finishing the 2nd chapter of first letter, Jim speaks on Paul's love for them and how Satan trys to keep Christians apart from each other and fellowship with God.

18th February 2018. Genesis 6:5-14 and 9:8-17: The Rev Bill Slack speaks on how the sin of us all breaks God's heart but through one man's faithfulness, God chose to save him and his family by an ark. In a similar way that God chose His son Jesus to save us from our sin.

The Faithful Church

11th February 2018. Continuing through Paul's letters to the Thessalonians, Jim McFarlane emphasises that persecution is expected from within as well as without the church. We must be true and stand firm as Christ was persecuted as were the prophets.
