4th February 2018. Jim McFarlane speaks from Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians Chapter 2 verses 7 to 12 where Paul reminds them of his deep love for them and the compassion he showed to them when he was in Thessalonica. A love that we should also show to others.

Pleasing the Father

28th January 2018. Jim McFarlane has now reached the 2nd chapter of 1st Thessalonians speaking from verse 1 to 6a on Paul's conduct and authority when he was amongst them. 

The Model Church

21st January 2018. Jim McFarlane continues his series from Paul's letters to the Thessalonians, from the first letter chapter 1 on how this church became the model church by their service and love and the preaching God's word throughout the region.

The Ideal Church

14th January 2018. Jim McFarlane commences this new year with the first letter from Paul to the church at Thessalonica starting with the first three verses of chapter one. Paul wrote the letter to strengthen and encourage the church, which it still does today.

Grow in Knowledge and Grace

31st December 2017. On this the last day of 2017, Jim McFarlane speaks from the last verse of Peter's letters which tell us the grow in grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ and use this as a guide for 2018.

The Love of Christmas

24th December 2017. Jim McFarlane speaks on the Love of God from Matthew 1 v 18 - 21 and John 3 v 16 - 17 which shows how much God loves all the people of the world.

The Peace of Christmas

10th December 2017. Jim McFarlane preaches on this 2nd Sunday in Advent using Micah's prophecy from chapter 5 v 1 to 5 that Christ, the Prince of Peace would be born in Bethlehem. 

The Hope Christmas Brings

3rd December 2017. On this first Sunday in Advent, Jim McFarlane reads Isaiah 11 v 1 to 16 and speaks on the Hope we have in Christ first coming as a child but looks towards the assurance of His return for His people as the King of Kings.

Finish the Race - Well

26th November 2017. Jim McFarlane concludes this series on Paul's second letter to Timothy preaching from chapter 4 during which is probably the last days of his life whilst chained in a Roman prison cell.

 

God's Word makes you Wise

19th November 2017. Continuing with his series on Paul's second letter to Timothy, Jim McFarlane speaks on the coming dangers of apostasy during these present times and how it will increase as we fast approach the return of Jesus.
