5th February 2017. Jim McFarlane speaks from John 10 v1 to 18 on how much the Lord loves and cares for us, like a shepherd who all his sheep by name.

29th January 2017. The 3rd installment of Jim McFarlane's trilogy from Isaiah chapter 40 looking at verse 1 to 11 and the Eternal Everlastings of God.

22nd January 2017. Jim McFarlane continues expounding from Isaiah 40 with this year's text. Today he concentrates on verses 21 to 31 and that even when we are at our lowest and feel God is far away He is there with us.

15th January 2017. The Rev. Dr. Jim Purves speaks on the importance of Holiness and the consequences of not imitating God in living a Holy life which is the main calling of the Christian life. 'Be Holy as I AM Holy.'

8th January 2017. This (New) Year LBC takes as its text Isaiah 40 v31. Jim McFarlane preaches from the passage that those who put their hope in the Lord will renew their strength and they will soar on wings like eagles.

 

11th December 2016. Jim McFarlane speaks on how the initial fear of the shepherds subsides after the angel reassures them and annouces that he brings News of Great Joy to all of the people with the birth of the Messiah in Bethlehem.

4th December 2016. On this second Sunday in Advent Jim McFarlane speaks on the Peace that God promises us with the birth of Jesus through our praises to God.

27th November 2016. Jim speaks on the expectations that we hope for from the coming of Christ and what Jesus expects from us.

20th November 2016. John Palmer speaks from Luke chapter 1 verses 59 to 79 on the prophecy of Zechariah and the fulfillment of God's Promise.

13th November 2016.  On this Remembrance Sunday Jim speaks from Psalm 103 v 1 to 5, lest we forget what God has done for us. But remember too, Jesus Christ and what He has done for all of us in His sacrifice at calvary.
