What happened at Pentecost?  What is the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer today 2000 years on?  While answers to this question abound Paul tells us there is one foundational role the Holy Spirit performs in the life of all believers in every age.

Death and life – We live in a society today that wants to hear and see nothing of death, but it is a reality we all face. What are we to do in the face of death and what is true life?

Inner peace just won’t cut it – According to our culture if you are at peace with yourself you will be content with your life.  Paul tells us however, inner peace will never be enough.

Resurrection, really?! – How could it be possible that Jesus really did die and was raised up to life again?  Why is this such a big deal anyway?  What difference should it make to me?

Strong faith for weak people – We have all failed while trying to change and better ourselves. The problem is we are weak, but God has a solution.

Want to be truly blessed? – What does it mean to be truly blessed with Covid, lockdown and all the other worries in our lives at the moment?

What to do when you don’t measure up – We often worry we are not good enough in many areas of life.  The harsh truth is we aren’t good enough at life itself, but Paul offers us all hope!

Equality for all – Although great inequality marks our world Paul tells us that we all stand on a level playing field before God. Is this the kind of equality we really want though?
