Confidence in Christ - Romans 8:31-39

What is the source of our confidence in day to day life?  Our own ability or skills?  The security of a job?  Our friends or family?  These things can all be taken away or lost.  At the end of Romans 8 Paul tells us where true and lasting confidence really comes from.

Help at every step - Romans 8:26-30

God made us to live lives that are holy and pleasing to him. This life should bring us joy, but all too often we wonder if we will ever manage it. God knows and provides help for us every step of the way.

Heirs of glory - Romans 8:12-25

Through Jesus God blesses us with forgiveness for our sins.  As if this wasn’t good enough he will restore the whole of creation and will give us a part to play in this new world.  In Jesus we are heirs of future glory.
